Olga Survillo, born in 1961 in Moscow, grew up in a creative family that nurtured her early passion for art. After graduating from the Moscow Art School, she pursued production and set design at VGIK Film School, laying the foundation for a distinguished career in the film industry. From 1985 onward, she contributed to more than twenty film projects as a production designer, recognised for her ability to craft compelling visual narratives across diverse genres.
In 2020, Survillo transitioned to painting, establishing her studio in Palanga, Lithuania, as a stepping stone to focus on her individual artistic practice—while cultivating her presence in Berlin’s international art scene through collaborations and recent exhibitions. With solo and group shows in Berlin, Paris, Riga, and beyond, she continues to paint her path as an emerging artist, channeling her cinematic sensibility into a new, visually distinctive body of work.
